Our eight international-standard grass polo pitches can be converted intopitches for field sports, such as rugby, football, showjumping and more. The club is equipped with a large general parking area as well as prime parking adjacent to the facilities. Together with a VIP entrance, Royal seating, helicopter platform, fully equipped catering kitchen, media center, outdoor pool area, tennis courts and changing rooms, we provide some of the regions best facitlites. Aussi Rules debut in the UAE (2008)
More than 6,000 people watched the Adelaide Crows defeat the Collingwood Magpies 136-55 in a season-opening NAB Cup encounter.
"We are thrilled with the attendance here, the organisation, the hospitality. We only hope we can come back and play here again," AFL Chairman Andrew Demetriou, said after the game.
M. Donnelly GAA Hurling Inter-Provincial Championship Final (2009)
On behalf of Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club hosted the M.Donnelly GAA Hurling Inter-Provincial Championship Final in 2009.
Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ executive vice president, marketing and product, said: “We are thrilled by the success of the M.Donnelly Interprovincial Hurling championship. The weather was glorious, the family picnic area was full of children and parents relaxing and enjoying the activities we put on and it was great to see the amount of supporters that came to watch both Leinster and Connacht in the final.
The President of UAE Showjumping Cup 2010
The spotlight fell once again on Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club as we were chosen to host the President of the UAE Showjumping Cup .
The three- day event saw a strong field of showjumpers led by reigning world champion Jos Lansink of Belgium, a total purse of 500,000 euros (Dhs 2.6 million) and a free raffle for three cars.
Emirates Showjumping Championship 2011
The three- day Dhs235,000 Emirates Show Jumping Championship, was organised by Emirates Equestrian Federation and featured competitions for various categories of riders including Category A, B, C, D and Open Class. His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Emirates Equestrian Federation, was present on the concluding day to distribute trophies to the winning riders.
